Premium Camper Van Upgrades &Add-Ons
Bolt-ons for any van. Full build-outs for an empty one.
Upgrading your adventure van shouldn’t involve trial and error. We take the guesswork out of aftermarket upgrades by testing and sourcing components from industry-leading brands — the same gear we run on our own rigs. Every upgrade, from gear haulers to cabinetry, is professionally installed by our Chicago team to integrate cleanly with your van’s factory architecture and installed to spec to protect your factory warranty. The result: more capability, more comfort, zero headaches.
Will add-ons void my factory warranty?
No — professional installation of accessories doesn’t void your Sprinter’s factory warranty. Mercedes covers the chassis and drivetrain; our 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty covers the conversion and our installations on the vans we build. On a van we did not build, the part carries its maker’s warranty and our work carries one year. The same principle applies on a Transit or a ProMaster: professional installation to spec does not void a factory warranty, and your own booklet carries its terms. If an add-on ever caused an issue with a factory component, that specific repair could be disputed by the manufacturer — which is exactly why we install everything to spec and use brands with proven Sprinter fitment.

Custom Camper Van Upgrades & Parts Catalog
Whether you are starting with a fresh, empty cargo van or looking to enhance an already-converted camper van, we are ready to help elevate your rig! We work on both empty and built-out vans, and what we can fit depends on which one yours is. What each one costs depends on the van it is going into, so every job is quoted individually after an inspection.
Not every part and upgrade on this list is available for every van. What will fit yours depends on the van, its layout and what is already in it, so a consultation comes first. Contact us and we will confirm what fits.

Let’s ChatUpgrade Questions
Can I add upgrades after my van is delivered?
Yes — most add-ons can be installed at any time, and plenty of owners spread upgrades over a few seasons as they learn how they actually travel. A few choices are much cheaper to make at build time: power-system capacity, the roof layout (rack, solar, AC, tent), and anything that lives behind finished walls. One limit worth knowing: on an already-built van we can add or swap our standard furniture and accessories, but a full custom interior rework means a new build. If you’re on the fence, tell us during your consult and we’ll help you decide what to lock in now versus later
Can every upgrade go on a van that is already finished?
Not all of them, and where the work lives is why. Insulation, the ceiling and floor, wall panels, window cut-outs, built-in seating and cabinetry, and the power and water systems all sit behind a wall, under the floor or inside the electrical and plumbing runs. Reaching them in a finished van means taking the finished van apart.
Anything that bolts to the outside of the vehicle or drops into it fits whatever you are already driving — racks, awnings, steps, bumpers, lighting, wheels, suspension, and the interior accessories that are not built in.
The list does not mark which is which, because the answer depends on your van rather than on the part. Tell us the ones you want and we will say. Some of the built-in work is possible on a finished van with more labour than a fresh build would take, and the inspection is where we find out.
Can I bring you an empty van and pick from the list?
Yes. Bring us an empty van and choose what you want from the list — insulation and a floor, or a full interior. We scope it, quote it and schedule it like any other job.
Power and plumbing go in as complete systems rather than piece by piece. Both are sold that way because that is how they are installed: a battery, an inverter, a charge path and the wiring between them are one job, and so are tanks, pump, heater and lines.
The systems and cabinetry we build are covered by our conversion warranty on the same terms as a van we supplied, because it is our work either way. The chassis, and anything already in the van when it arrives, are not.
Do any add-ons conflict with each other?
A few do, and we flag every conflict before you order. The big ones: on a 144” roof (Aoraki and Kinabalu) a rooftop tent and a roof-mounted air conditioner will not both fit, so a build with a tent takes the undermount Cruise and Comfort unit instead — the Parbat’s 170” roof is the only one that carries both up top; solar panels require the FVC roof rack; and solar with Victron monitoring comes with the Pro power package. When you build your van with us, your configuration is checked against all of these — no surprises on install day. On a van we did not build, the conflicts depend on what is already on the roof and in the electrical system, which is what the inspection is for.
What are your most popular add-ons?
The consistent favorites: the Fiamma awning, roof-mounted Starlink, the VanCompass suspension kit with BFG KO3 all-terrains, swivel seats for the cab, and bug screens with blackout window covers — the unglamorous gear that transforms daily livability. If you want a shortcut, the Pro trim includes several of these from day one: the suspension and wheel upgrade, the FVC roof rack, and the full Owl Vans exterior kit.
Can you install gear I bought myself?
No — we do not install parts bought elsewhere. We work with a set of trusted vendors and partners and source every component we fit from them, which is what lets us stand behind the install as well as the part. Tell us what you are after and we will quote it with the part included.
Can add-ons be rolled into my financing?
Yes — add-ons ordered with your build become part of the vehicle price, covered by the same RV loan and spread across the same term. Upgrades added after delivery are typically paid directly. If you know you’ll want it eventually, including it at purchase is usually the cheaper path per month.
How long does an add-on installation take?
It depends on the job — a swivel seat and a full off-road package are very different days in the shop. Every install is scheduled ahead of time, and your quote includes a duration estimate so you know exactly what to plan for. We schedule installs so out-of-town owners can pair them with a trip.
