From Elk Grove Village to Denver
Many of our owners are not local. We’re in Elk Grove Village, IL — 15 minutes from O’Hare — and many buyers fly in, do a full orientation walkthrough at the shop, and drive their van home as the first road trip. Prefer it brought to you? We can also arrange enclosed transport nationwide — ask for a quote.
The drive home is a straight run west across Iowa and Nebraska, and the Front Range comes up out of the Plains at the end of it.
Trips from Denver
From Denver the trips go up: the Indian Peaks, the San Juans, and the ski towns along the interstate in winter.
The Aoraki's rear garage takes skis, bikes or a paddleboard under the bed. On the Parbat, the roof takes a rooftop tent beside the air conditioner.

Is the van ready for a ski season?
It is built for four seasons on every model: AWD, four-season insulation, insulated water lines and a Webasto diesel heater as standard. The Aoraki's garage under the bed is where the skis and boots go.
Is there a Highland Vans showroom in Denver?
No. There is one shop, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, 15 minutes from O’Hare, and every van is designed, built and handed over there.
Can I see a van before I travel?
Start with a conversation on the contact page: an e-mail, a video call, or a visit to the shop. A video call covers the layouts, the options and the price before you book a flight, and the facility tour and the design centre visit are there when you come in.
Do I have to come back to Chicago for warranty work?
Not necessarily. Call us first: for covered repairs away from Chicago, we’ll pre-authorize a certified RV technician or marine electrician near you and pay for the approved work directly — no paying out of pocket and waiting on reimbursement. Because we build with open-architecture, standardized components, local techs can handle most jobs.
How long does a build take?
Two answers. If a van in our inventory matches the spec you want, it’s available for immediate purchase — ask what’s on the floor right now. If not, a typical build takes about three months from reserving your build slot, and we’ll confirm your delivery window when you reserve. Either way, because we build standard layouts rather than one-off customs, you’re not waiting in a year-long custom queue.
Does the price include the van itself?
Yes. Pricing on this page covers the complete vehicle — the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter high-roof chassis and the full Highland Vans conversion.
